Halo Reach: Beta
Well guys, the gauntlet has been friggen thrown. Halo Reach has set a high standard for the FPS world this year and for all shooter fans. After the initial 6 hour server downtime due to their melted servers, which was penultimately disappointing for those of us who not only waited for the release on the 4th but stayed up all night waiting for it on the 5th, the game turns out to be an extremely different yet familiar Halo. The only way to describe it is, if you had Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 3, and ODST get mixed up somewhere at a party and someone got pregnant, Reach would be the bundle of joy that would follow, but in a good way.
Reach relates to ODST with its perspective in size. The Spartan III's feel like they are the size of a normal human being rather than the hulking mass and visual perspective that Master Chief brought in Halo 3. The maps feel much bigger and your Spartan feels quite a bit slower than in Halo 3.
Shop Update
Hey Guys,
We have had a couple comments on the store and in response to them we have changed up the way we are listing games now.
The changes are as follows:
1)Coming soon has changed to Pre-Order
2)New Releases has changed to New Releases In Stock
3)Older stocked games are just listed as in stock.
All the games that are listed in our store are up for sale, If a game is listed as a "Pre-Order" (and there are lots of them) you may order it and once the game is released it will be couriered to you, just the same as a normal purchase.
We hope this helps to clear some things up and we hope that you enjoy our site!
Gears of War 3 Announcement Trailer
Epic has done it again with another emotion filled teaser trailer advertising the last installment of their epic trilogy, Gears of War. It really doesn't need an introduction so have a watch. There is also an interview with Epic Games' Design Director, Cliff Bleszinski, on Gears of War 3 and the Gears of War Mad World Trailer included in this post.
Call Yourself a Game Collector?
The classic Stadium Events has struck again. Another copy has recently been genuinely purchased for a shocking $41,300!!! The previous video game record sale was $21,100 for a copy of Nintendo Game Challenge.
HOWEVER! Things may be getting out of control. There is currently a sealed copy of Stadium Events for sale on Ebay for, no fooling, a staggering $100,766.00 USD!!! Have a look at the Auction Here Whether or not these are genuine bids will remain to be seen, but one thing certainly comes into question, can you call yourself a game collector if you don't have Stadium Events?
